Kindred K9 Healing, LLC

At Kindred K9 Healing, our goal is to help your pet regain strength, mobility and function.  As a mobile service, we make physical rehabilitation easily accessible for you and your pet, working in the comfort of your own home during their session.

An initial evaluation with our certified canine rehabilitation practitioner includes a comprehensive history, physical exam and discussion about the challenges that your pet is facing.  An individualized treatment plan is then created based on your pet’s needs and goals.  Rehabilitation sessions include a multimodal approach using a variety of rehabilitation modalities and therapeutic exercises.  The owner plays an integral part in their pet's recovery and we strongly encourage your involvement in the rehabilitation process.  We value a collaborative approach and work together with your veterinarian to ensure the best outcome and success in their rehabilitation program.  We require a veterinary referral and diagnosis prior to initiating rehabilitation.

Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner
Jane Pluhowski

LVT, CCRP

After receiving her Bachelors in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2009, Jane went on to pursue a degree in Veterinary technology from Bergen Community College.  As a licensed veterinary technician, she explored many aspects of nursing while working with a diversity of species including companion animals, exotics, marine animals, and wildlife.  She quickly became aware of the importance of physical rehabilitation and its role in improving her patients' quality of life, regardless of species, breed, age or physical health.  She attended the University of Tennessee's certificate program and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in 2015.  She is passionate about advocating for our beloved companions by providing attentive, individualized care and owner education, strengthening the human-animal bond.
